Fairfield Inn Ground Breaking in Papillion at Midlands Place

At 9:00 AM, many people came out in Papillion  to show support for the ground breaking of Fairfield Inn on this bitter cold morning, including local officials Congressman Lee Terry, State Senator Jim Smith, Mayor David Black, City Councilman Tom Mumgaard. While the weather was bitter, the smiles and praise for the project and the city of Papillion were sweet.

Here’s a picture of what the Fairfield Inn will look like sans the snow and upon completion.

First Snow and First Hotel in Papillion

Local children were excited by the first snow of the season. Some of them hoping for a day off from school.

For the groundbreaking for Fairfield Inn,  it was a frigid start. The early morning sun shines down in the early hours before the groundbreaking ceremony in our picture below.

Papillion Events for 21 November, Friday

Come to Papillion on Friday, 21 November to help welcome some new businesses to the area.

At 9:00 AM, there will be a  groundbreaking event  for  the Fairfield Inn at Midland’s Place, near 84th and 370.

Near by at Shadow Lake Mall, Firestone will have their ribbon cutting at 11:30 AM. Lunch and fun activities will be provided.
