Local children were excited by the first snow of the season. Some of them hoping for a day off from school.

At 9:00 AM, there will be a groundbreaking event for the Fairfield Inn at Midland’s Place, near 84th and 370.
Near by at Shadow Lake Mall, Firestone will have their ribbon cutting at 11:30 AM. Lunch and fun activities will be provided.
The Egg and I opens officially today at Midlands Place. Come and enjoy breakfast and lunch at this egg themed restaurant. Facilities include a room for meetings or special get togethers.
We tried the Egg and I for the first time and the item below, the Hooper, was a real winner with my daughter. Including the plate, we had three smiling faces at the breakfast table.
