Papillion Event: Christmas Tree Lighting at Shadow Lake Towne Center

While the chill in the air kept some people away, visitors still lined the streets to wait for the parade which included holiday characters, the Grinch, Frosty, Rudolph and, of course, Santa.

Also there was Papillion Fire Department. Chief Bill Bowes  who drove the decorated fire truck with the Grinch and comedy team, the Peppermint Elves.

The Christmas Tree was 35- 40 feet high according to employees helping with the ceremony and Papillion annual event. This year’s tree was donated by a local family.
