Papillion Nonprofit: High Hopes Foundation Bringing Inclusive Childcare to Sarpy County

For those of you who are not familiar with the High Hopes Foundation, we are a non-profit (501c3) organization that is working diligently to bring an inclusive child care facility to Sarpy County. We have recently been offered the opportunity to lease space that is located close to the interstate for our new center. A local architectural firm has been kind enough to donate their services to assist us with designing the space and another generous donor has agreed to donate paint and carpet for our new center. Additionally, numerous donors have given us tangible donations of toys and supplies for the facility.

That being said, we could still use some additional financial support to help us meet our goal of opening in late Spring/early Summer of 2021. As you know, 2020 posed a unique set of challenges for all of us and many non-profits have had to postpone or reinvent their fundraising activities due to the pandemic. Our foundation was no different as we had to cancel our planned fundraiser back in March, and we had to place future events involving gathering on hold.

We recently received estimates back on the cost of building an inclusive indoor play area for the center. We are hoping that one or more individuals may be interested in assisting with sponsoring our playground. If you are interested in helping or know someone who might be, please reach out.

Other ways that you can help include:

-Donating directly through our website at https://www.highhopescare.org/donate
-Sponsoring a butterfly that will be displayed in our center to create a unique art installation. You may sponsor a butterfly in your name, in the name of a loved one, in memoriam or as a corporate sponsor. Sponsorships are available for $100 (small), $500 (medium) or $1,000 (large).
-Show your support by wearing a High Hopes Foundation Give Hope T-shirt. Prices include taxes and shipping within the United States and range from $30-$35.00. Available at https://www.highhopescare.com/shirt

A huge thank you to our t-shirt sponsors for their support!
