Papillion Event: Cruisers for the Breath of Life 8th Annual Car Show, 7 July

See an assortment of classic cars, all to benefit the American Lung Association. Awards will be given by make (Ford, Chevy, Chrysler) and model (hot rod, truck, Corvette, Mustang), as well as for best in show, spectator’s choice, and judge’s choice. Registration is at 5pm; the show starts at 6, and awards will be handed out at 8:30. Registration is $15 until July 3 and $20 up through the day of the show.

Papillion Concert: Swingin’ at SumTur: An Evening with Lil’ Rev, 6 July

Folk artist Lil’ Rev performs at a free concert at 7 pm, with gates opening at 6. The first 150 people will receive a
free hot dog meal.

Isbell performs songs off his albums “Something More Than Free” and “Southeastern.” Concert starts at 7:30 pm; gates open at 6:30. Tickets are $45 reserved, $35 general admission, $40 at the gate.
