Papillion Event: Dog Day at the Bay, 10 September

Come out to Papio Bay Aquatic Center with your dog for a day of fun. Dogs of all sizes are welcome, but must be under voice control and have a collar with current tags and harness and be on a leash when entering or leaving the park; aggressive dogs will not be allowed. Small dogs can use the baby pool area, while all dogs will get to swim for free and receive free treats and doggy bags. There will also be vendors onsite. Hours are 1-3pm.

Papillion Event: Cop on a Rooftop, 8 September

Come to the Papillion Dunkin Donuts for this Papillion event from 6-11am as the Papillion police raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefitting Special Olympics Nebraska. The store will kick in $1000 to start the donations off and give each donor a coupon for a hot or iced coffee; the goal is to raise $15,000. Dunkin has also created a special “Champion” glazed donut ring for sale on September 9.

Papillion Event: “Breaking Legs,” 2 September

This Papillion event is a free live stream of the movie “Breaking Legs” about a girl who moves to a small town where the only dance classes available are for the school’s dance team. The movie stars Liv Southard, William Leon, Sarah Rochelle, Richard Riehle, Mark Marchillo, Chris Kattan, and Lee Meriwether. Gates open at 7:30pm; the movie starts at 8.
