Papillion Event: Celebrity Chili Cook-Off for Toys for Tots, 19 November

As part of the Toys for Tots drive, a collection of celebrity chefs will attempt to impress a panel of Marines with their culinary skills. At noon, the Marines will judge the chili and determine a winner. At 1pm, a donation of $10 or a toy will get you a sample of chili. All the toys collected and all cash donations will go to benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation.

Nebraska Brewing Company is celebrating 10 years of brewing with a rare beer tasting party. For your $50 ticket, you can sample the 10th anniversary brew as well as a selection of other craft beers. You’ll also get to enjoy hors’ d’oeuvres and take home a special anniversary glass.
