Kate Sorensen:\u00a0 The owners of SelfieWRLD Omaha are entrepreneurs at heart. We have young kids that are involved in our communities and love having an impact on the lives of individuals.<\/p>\n

We are also ridiculously happy and uplifting, so the \u201cLove Your Selfie\u201d mantra of Selfie WRLD is what we hope to impress on others.<\/p>\n

PapillionBusinesses.com: How did you come to be in this business?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kate Sorensen:\u00a0 When the pandemic was nearing its end, the owners\/friends knew that bringing a concept like Selfie WRLD to the greater Omaha area would be a welcome concept. It was finally time to start seeing people SMILE again!<\/p>\n

Selfie WRLD is the #1 Trending Selfie Museum in the country with a combined 500,000 social media followers. We will soon have over 40 franchises from coast to coast. The original location was in Des Moines, Iowa and it has grown from there. Each location is managed individually by local individuals, no corporate money involved, all local small businesses.<\/p>\n

Selfie WRLD TRULY feels like a family business (because it really is!) The CEO even has her Dad and Aunt both on her staff!<\/p>\n

Kate Sorensen: Selfie WRLD Omaha is a 5,000 sq. foot space with new, interactive and innovative photo booths that are each themed.<\/p>\n

Inside Selfie WRLD Omaha you\u2019ll find 20+ photo opportunities to get that perfect pic – whether for a birthday, last day of school, prom, senior photos, family pictures or social media profile pictures.<\/p>\n

Remember Glamour shots?? Yah – like that, but not nearly as cheesy! Ha!<\/p>\n

Kate Sorensen: From an LED pool pit to a bathtub filled with \u201cbubbles\u201d, sports room with bleachers, an illusion room where you can \u201cclimb the wall\u201d, a diner with a real working jukebox, swings, a coffee diner, a \u201cshoot your shot\u201d with a basketball hoop you can actually sit on, and of all things, a jumbo sized lip couch – there is a room that can fit into anyone\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Kate Sorensen: When each group is welcomed into Selfie WRLD Omaha, they receive their own ring light with a quick tutorial from our staff that will give them the perfect lighting for their pictures as well as a remote timer to connect to their phone wirelessly and use with their phone\u2019s camera (Hello, not having to use a timer – YAY!)<\/p>\n

The ring light also has a holder for your phone inside the ring to get the perfect shots!<\/p>\n

As customers enter the store, they either redeem their pre-purchase by showing the ticket qr code on their phone<\/p>\n

Kate Sorensen: No! We welcome photographers with open arms and are so happy to have them use our space.<\/p>\n

Photographers pay regular admission, and the same goes with their clients. We even have four dressing rooms for the photographer\u2019s client to change their outfits in.<\/p>\n

Each dressing room has a key, so the client can leave their belongings in the fitting room and carry the key with them inside the store until they\u2019re finished with their session!<\/p>\n

Most times that this happens, customers have come in in a group, and haven\u2019t hit all of the booths because they\u2019re having so much fun getting all of the best pics and photo combinations!<\/p>\n
